The podcast starts off talking about the history of the War on Drugs, when it started and the impact it made on America. The subject then focuses on El Chapo’s and Pablo Escobar's childhoods. Later explaining their journey to drugs and riches. One of the ways that they transported drugs was drug muling. We explain the dangers of drug muling and the extent that people will go to for this to be possible. In the end of the podcast we vocalize our thoughts on the War on Drugs, mostly about how we could stop the drugs.

Our podcast is about the institutionalized racism that is found in the War on Drugs in America. The War on Drugs is a harsh system with laws designed to stomp out drug use and trafficking. But, as we will explore, the iron fisted policy has racist side effects that are often overlooked. Many people will claim that "racism doesn't exist in America any more. " Our podcast will attempt to dissuade this notion as well as show people the racism that is right in front of them through the lens of the War on Drugs.

Listen in to our podcast as we delve into two major drugs: Marijuana & Cocaine. We’ll tell you why these two drugs have side effects that could last your entire life and what those specific effects are. We’ll also discuss why this topic is important for all americans to know before they even consider doing drugs.

Our podcast is about the present difficulties with history’s situations on smuggling drugs across the border and society's dilemma and judgement appended to the antiquity of the black vs. white complication within concealing drugs. We will talk about the interesting, entertaining and somewhat humorous ideas El Chapo and anonymous men and women come up with to stash drugs. Also, we will apprise the situations about black concealment of drugs versus white and the arrestment statistics. This podcast will inform the listeners, and have them understand the hazards in the outdoor world. We want people to realize and pick up these facts, for it can bring an individual that was unknown to the situation, to actually be aware of what can happen to someone if they step on the wrong path. We hope you enjoy.

In this episode we explore the positive and negative effects of Marijuana. There may be some negative effects of legalizing marijuana, but the benefits outweigh the costs. We hope you enjoy this informational podcast by Elaine, Evanna, Abby, and Maya, featuring interviews with staff and students from High Tech High.

The poppy was once an innocent plant. The Sumerians in ancient Mesopotamia used the insides of this flower to make opium. Uses include medicine and a way to feel a sudden outburst of joy, now known as a high. Centuries later, however, a group in southeast asia known as the Mians introduced opium to the western world. Laws were directed at Chinese immigrants to disrupt the opium trade. This created the foundations for the War on Drugs. 6 decades later, Nixon had two new enemies, African Americans and hippies. He destroyed their communities by associating each group with a drug, then heavily criminalized the “drug.” Listen to our podcast for more insight on opium and racist drug laws.

This is Space Monkey Radio and we're here to talk about related subjects on the War on Drugs. This podcast is in two acts: the first acts is about a lesser known cartel leader named Griselda Blanco. Our main goal of making this podcast was to explore controversial topics and to show two sides of those arguments. Cocaine is bad because many people die of overdose. Cocaine is very terrible to their victims because it makes the users become blind because it is killing them and everyone who does take it losers their reality. However, we are tying to tell society that cocaine is bad to us and Pablo Escobar's actions.

This podcast was written, and completely made by a wonderful trio consisting of, Alyssia Baly, Andre Peeples, and Abril Arredondo.
